Terms of Use – Atlas

Last updated: October 2026

1. General

1.1. Welcome to Atlas, a digital service designed to help users choose travel destinations, compare destinations, receive personalised recommendations and build trip plans (hereinafter: "Atlas" or the "Service").

1.2. The Service is operated by Adv. Sapir Nadler Hershkovits, a sole proprietor registered for VAT in Israel (hereinafter: the "Operator").

1.3. Use of the website and the Service is subject to these Terms of Use and to the Atlas Privacy Policy. Using the Service constitutes acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree to the Terms, please refrain from using the Service.

1.4. The Service is intended for personal and private use. Opening an account and saving information in an account are intended for adult users.

2. Nature of the Service

2.1. Atlas provides a digital tool to help choose travel destinations and plan trips, based, among other things, on information, preferences and data that the user chooses to provide.

2.2. The recommendations and trip plans shown in the Service are produced by automated systems and processes and are based, among other things, on information collected, edited and organised for the Service.

2.3. Atlas is not a travel agency, tour organiser, airline, hotel, transport operator, tour guide or provider of the services, places and attractions mentioned on the website.

2.4. Atlas does not make bookings and is not a party to any engagement between the user and hotels, airlines, transport companies, attractions, restaurants or any other third-party provider, unless expressly stated otherwise.

3. Recommendations and Content on the Website

3.1. We make efforts to present useful and accurate information and recommendations. However, tourism information may change from time to time, including opening hours, opening dates, entry conditions, transport, availability, prices, age restrictions, weather and local conditions.

3.2. Before making a booking, purchase or trip, the user should check material information against the official source or the relevant service provider.

3.3. Trip planning and recommendations concerning pace, activities, length of stay, transport, children's ages or family suitability are an aid only and are not a commitment that an activity is suitable for every person or every personal circumstance.

3.4. Information shown in the Service does not constitute medical, safety, legal, insurance, immigration or visa advice. Such matters should be checked, as appropriate, with the competent authority or the appropriate professional.

4. User Accounts

4.1. Parts of the Service may be used without creating an account. An account is required for ongoing saving of trips and traveller groups.

4.2. The user is responsible for keeping their account access details safe and for not using them in a way that would allow unauthorised access.

4.3. An account may not be opened in another person's name without authorisation.

4.4. Atlas may restrict or suspend an account in the event of unlawful use, abuse of the Service, an attempt to harm its systems or a material breach of these Terms.

4.5. The user may delete trips, traveller groups and the account itself using the options available in the Service.

5. Licence to Use the Service

5.1. Subject to compliance with these Terms, the user is granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for non-commercial use, to use the Service for choosing a destination and planning personal trips.

5.2. A trip plan prepared for the user may be used, saved, printed and shared by the user for personal purposes related to the trip.

5.3. This licence does not grant the user ownership of the Service, the software, the databases, the interface or the protected content of Atlas.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1. All rights in Atlas, including in the software, code, design, user interfaces, structure of the Service, arrangement and selection of content and information, original texts, illustrations, graphic elements, branding, planning processes, models, matching rules and databases, to the extent the rights in them belong to the Operator, are reserved to the Operator or to the relevant rights holders.

6.2. The name Atlas / אטלס, and the design, marks and branding of the Service, may not be used in a manner likely to create an impression of a connection, sponsorship, endorsement or cooperation with the Operator without prior authorisation.

6.3. Names, marks and content of third parties appearing in the Service remain the property of their rights holders.

7. Prohibited Uses

Without derogating from any other provision, the Service and its content may not be used for:

7.1. Copying, reproducing, distributing, republishing or systematically commercially exploiting the Service or a material part of it;

7.2. Scraping, crawling, data mining, systematic downloading or automated collection of content or data, except with the Operator's prior written approval;

7.3. Circumventing access restrictions, security measures or technological mechanisms;

7.4. Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, derive source code from or reconstruct protected components of the Service, except to the extent a particular action is expressly permitted under mandatory law;

7.5. Using the content, databases, structure, user flows, non-public information or material components of Atlas to replicate the Service or to develop a competing product or service based on copying them;

7.6. Using Atlas content to train or build a database, model, recommendation engine or other commercial product without prior written authorisation;

7.7. Placing an unreasonable load on the Service, attempting intrusion, malicious use or any action likely to harm the Service or other users;

7.8. Using the Service contrary to law.

8. Information Provided by Users

8.1. The user is responsible for ensuring that information they provide for trip planning is provided lawfully and that they are entitled to provide it.

8.2. Where the user provides information about family members or other travellers, they should refrain from providing information that is not needed for planning the trip.

8.3. Personal information will be used in accordance with the Atlas Privacy Policy.

9. Feedback and Suggestions

9.1. We welcome comments, ideas and suggestions for improving the Service.

9.2. If you provide feedback in connection with the Service, the Operator may use the feedback to improve, develop and operate Atlas, without payment and without limitation, provided that this does not grant the Operator rights in personal information or in any other work of the user that is not part of the feedback.

10. Third-Party Services and Websites

10.1. Atlas may refer to third-party websites and services.

10.2. Responsibility for the terms of service, prices, availability, cancellations, safety, information security and privacy policies of those third parties rests with them.

10.3. The mere appearance of a place, service or link in Atlas does not constitute a commitment or responsibility of the Operator in relation to that party.

10.4. Some links shown in the Service may be affiliate links. If a user clicks such a link and makes a transaction that qualifies for a commission, the Operator may receive consideration from the service provider or from the affiliate network.

10.5. Receiving a commission does not make Atlas a party to the engagement between the user and the service provider and does not impose on Atlas responsibility for the booking, payment, availability, cancellation, refund or performance of the service.

10.6. The existence of a commercial relationship or the possibility of receiving a commission does not in itself determine Atlas's recommendations. The recommendations are based on the suitability of the service to the trip and to the information available in Atlas.

10.7. Hotels.com links lead to an external booking website. Choosing accommodation and making a booking take place through Hotels.com and under the terms shown at the time of booking. The Operator is not a party to the accommodation transaction and is not responsible for the accommodation or for any matter relating to the booking, including price, availability, charges, changes, cancellation or refund. Any matter relating to a booking should be raised directly with Hotels.com. Showing a link for a particular area or arrondissement is not a recommendation of any specific hotel or a commitment as to its suitability. Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

11. Availability of the Service and Changes

11.1. Atlas is an evolving service. Features, destinations, content and capabilities may be added, changed or discontinued.

11.2. We do not undertake that the Service will be available at all times, without interruption or without errors.

11.3. During the beta period in particular, there may be faults, changes and behaviour that is not final.

12. Liability

12.1. The Service is provided as an aid for trip planning. Final decisions regarding destination, bookings, activities, transport and expenses are the user's.

12.2. To the extent permitted by law, the Operator will not be liable for indirect, consequential or special damage caused by reliance on information that has changed, a third-party service, cancellation or change of a booking, weather conditions, transport or circumstances beyond its control.

12.3. Nothing in these Terms of Use derogates from liability that cannot be excluded or limited under law.

13. Privacy

Use of personal information within the Service is subject to the Atlas Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

14. Ceasing Use

14.1. The user may stop using the Service at any time and delete their account using the option offered on the website.

14.2. The Operator may terminate or restrict access in the event of a material breach of the Terms of Use, malicious use, harm to the Service or a legal obligation.

15. Governing Law

These Terms of Use and use of the Service are governed by the laws of the State of Israel.

Any dispute will be heard before the competent court in accordance with law, all subject to mandatory provisions of law applicable to the user.

16. Changes to the Terms of Use

We may update these Terms from time to time due to changes in the Service, in technology or in legal requirements.

In the event of a material change, we will publish an appropriate notice or take another means of notification as required.

The date of the last update will appear at the top of the document.
